Try ‘Spybot Search and Destroy’ or ‘Ad-Aware’ both are free programs you can get at CNET download.com . I use both and they seem to work well. If you need something more serious then try a free anti- virus program but beware anything free may not be good or it may contain a bad payload of it’s own so be careful.
