Simple answer is…No. There are too many variants and morphing infections that will always outpace even the highest quality antivirus.
Just like a chilling winter morning, you gotta dress in layers. Layers of security include Firewall, Antivirus, Antispyware, Behavior analyzers…and some common sense :-D. Don’t overdo it on security, but put together a basic security and you’ll be good to go. Just don’t expect perfection.

formatting the hard drive will completely remove ALL data. and re-install the operating system. but, if you have valuable things saved on your computer, just try some anti-virus programs. Norton has some good removal tools. Super Anti Spyware removes all the little things that Norton misses. and use C-Cleaner to clean up your temporary files because sometimes viruses like to hide in there. it will not remove all viruses, but approx. 99 percent of them. about as close as your gonna get. and then upgrade and update your virus protection.

De beste die ik heb gevonden tot op heden is "Spybot - Search and Destroy" en de prijs goed is, GRATIS. Doe een zoekopdracht met uw favoriete zoekmachine en alleen downloaden vanaf de Safer Networking startpagina, zodat u een schone, niet-geïnfecteerde kopie. Now I can’t go back to the older images because my hardware has changed. And I plan to add a dual-monitor video card, so that creates a new difficulty in going back to the past.
